Bong County’s Christiana Mulbah Crowned Miss Kiddies Liberia 2025/2026

Eight-year-old Christiana O. Mulbah of Bong County has emerged victorious in the second edition of the Miss Kiddies Liberia pageant, held Saturday, August 2, at the BW Harris Episcopal High School in Monrovia.

The national competition, which began in May, featured contestants from eight of Liberia’s fifteen counties. Representing Bong County, Christiana quickly established herself as a standout, securing top spots in the audition, kickoff, cake rally, and public choice segments before dazzling the judges in the grand finale.

Other contestants included Miss Albertha Mensah (Montserrado), Miss Marie Kerkulah (Maryland), Miss Rashal C.L. Abiron (Grand Cape Mount), Miss Telvina F. Jallah (Grand Bassa), Miss Princess D. Gbeway (Margibi), Miss Mercy M. Carter (Lofa), and Miss Mouris Gaylerson (Grand Gedeh).

Born on September 29, 2016, in Gbarnga, Bong County, Christiana relocated to Monrovia in 2023 and now attends Wesleyan Academy in Caldwell, Montserrado County. Her journey into pageantry began in 2024 when her teacher, Mrs. Hawa Kamara Johnson, encouraged her to enter a school competition a contest she won, sparking her interest in pageantry.

Judges scored contestants on presentation, talent, cultural display, and career wear. Christiana impressed with her confidence, stage presence, and heartfelt advocacy for children in need.

“I feel so happy and proud to win this crown for my county,” Christiana said after her victory. “I want to thank my daddy, my mother, my teacher Mrs. Johnson, and everyone who supported me. It was not easy, but I believed I could do it.”

The young beauty queen also shared her ambitions. “One day, I want to become a lawyer so I can speak for children who don’t have anyone to fight for them. I want to help children who sleep outside and have no food. That’s why I will start the ‘Christiana Care Foundation’ to help homeless kids in Liberia,” she said.

Offering words of encouragement to her peers, Christiana added, “Even if you come from the village, like me, you can still make it. Just be serious in school and listen to your parents and teachers. God will help you.”

First held in 2019, with Miss Brenda K. Wahkleh of Nimba County as the inaugural winner, the Miss Kiddies Liberia pageant seeks to promote self-confidence, leadership, and advocacy among young girls nationwide.

As the new Miss Kiddies Liberia, Christiana O. Mulbah will serve as a role model for children across the country, using her platform to inspire, advocate, and lead with compassion.
